Zelda Nerderella is your average Midwestern undergrad. She loves to sleep, hang out with her friends, and get good grades. This is her journey through undergrad as a computer science engineering student at The Ohio State University, circa 2003 – 2008.

Process

Everything is hand-drawn on sketch book paper using pencil and black pen. Each drawing was scanned in, cleaned up, and colored using Paint Shop Pro 9.

Author Note

I was the art editor and editor-in-chief of the Ohio State Engineer magazine, a publication written by students for students at the College of Engineering. This comic is fairly autobiographical and pokes fun at being a computer science student, whether male or female.
